Personalised nutrition for mental health

Guiding you through how to use nutrition as an active tool in creating better mental health and putting you back in control.

Hi, I’m Rachel Beasley

I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in mental health. If you’ve been feeling low or anxious for a while, it might be difficult to remember a time when you weren’t struggling. It doesn’t have to be like this.

I approach nutrition from the perspective of self-care and honouring your health. I also want to help you understand your thoughts and feelings surrounding food to ensure dealing with it is less stressful. I’m a big believer that how we feel about food is just as important as what we eat.

  • 'I've had a toxic relationship with dieting for a quite a long time. More recently, I've learnt to enjoy exercising for the benefits I feel from it. I wanted to do right by my body and look after it but didn't want to take it too far into 'diet land'. Rachel never pushed me too far or made me uncomfortable with her recommendations. My relationship with food is the best it's ever been and I feel good physically and mentally. It's been one of the best decisions I've made, thank you Rachel!'

  • 'Over the past 10 years, I’ve struggled with my diet. This was due to a lack of appetite which led me to skipping meals, bingeing and not making good decisions about what I ate. This caused several issues, particularly insomnia. Rachel was lovely to work with, providing a welcoming and professional environment. I am delighted to say that following Rachel’s advice worked brilliantly. I no longer skip meals and the food I do eat gives my body what it needs. My insomnia frequency has reduced and my mood is better. I couldn’t recommend Rachel enough.'

  • 'I contacted Rachel as I was finding my energy levels were decreasing and my mood was fluctuating due to perimenopausal symptoms. I tried researching myself how diet could help, but found the information available rather overwhelming and didn’t know where to start. Rachel provided straightforward dietary advice and explained how certain food groups impact my energy levels and mood. The plan was easy to follow and implement. I’ve noticed some real positive changes but also feel that to achieve this, I haven’t had to radically change the way that I eat. Rachel is very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to and I would highly recommend her services to anyone who is looking for quality nutrition advice.'

  • 'I saw Rachel for dietary advice and couldn’t recommend her enough! Rachel is professional, knowledgeable and very approachable, had my best interests at heart and was so passionate about helping me. Her recommendations were explained very clearly and she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I’ve seen a huge improvement in my health and I can’t thank Rachel enough!'

  • 'Before seeing Rachel, I was suffering with hypertension and struggling with certain foods. Talking to Rachel made me feel at ease. She presented me with a variety of options which fit my needs and I was encouraged to make each change in my own time. By the second appointment, I was already feeling a lot better. My blood pressure had dropped, my digestive issues were less daunting and I felt more energetic. She continued to listen to my problems and found new alternatives to fit my lifestyle and budget.'
